I was fortunate to grow up with two loving and strong grandmothers in my life. It was Mary who taught me the value of perseverance through hardship despite the circumstances and Grandma Yaya who taught me to have kindness towards all. Whether to a family member, friend, or stranger, Mary & YaYa would show their love and appreciation by cooking.
Be it celebration or sickness, my grandmothers were there to prepare an abundance of fresh flour tortillas to share with friends or a warm bowl of Caldo for comfort and healing. ‘M-A-Y’ in May’s Eats is an homage to these two wonderful women, Mary and Yaya.
Our goal in creating May’s Eats was to show our love for our Corinth and Lake Cities Communities… through food!
Everything we serve at May’s is made with love, by people who care, using only quality ingredients with both vegetarian and vegan options available.
